About Us
In 2009 Aggbag moved from the exhausted pit at Easton, Norwich to an entirely new site at Manngreen, on the southern outskirts of Norwich.
History
Since commencing business back in August 99, the company has now established itself as a leading independent in the field of aggregates bagging and is constantly looking for ways to increase both its market share and range of products.
Located within a Lafarge Aggregate pit in Easton, on the outskirts of Norwich, we offer quality products within the sand and gravel ranges, which have secured for us prestigious customers from all over East Anglia.
There is no denying bagged material is the way forward in the construction industry, a fact which is supported by our increased sales, year on year, since our conception. Originally sought by DIY enthusiasts and small builders, the use of bagged material is now a definite part of any construction project.
Our competitive edge is that we offer the full range of sizes from bulk and half tonne to 25kg and 40kg bags, either in our own bags or branded bags especially for you.
Whilst in relative terms we are a young company, we have researched our market place thoroughly and quickly realised the importance to our customers of being able to supply their requirements on demand. Having the resources and flexibility to honour those expectations is something that we feel sets us apart from our competitors.
Despite a desire to sell to an individual, the practicalities just don’t make it an option, thus we sell to independents and branches of major builders' merchants throughout the region.
Our product range is detailed on the site along with an option for our existing customers to order online. We are take the lead in using technology in our industry to streamline the order process for our customers, ensuring you obtain what you want when you want.
The company is expanding rapidly and understands that the market place demands a greater range of products. We are currently researching recycled and natural material, which is an exciting project for our research and development team.
We feel that bagged material is a key contribution to both a better environment and to making best use of what can never be replaced. The directors’ drive to maximise the use of recycled material in the future is key to ensuring both the continued growth of the company and retaining what is a vital part of our future in construction.
